Shri Deepak P Shah, “The Sulphur Man Of India” is the CMD of SML Group, Mumbai (M/s Sulphur Mills Limited, M/s Sumil Chemicals Limited and R3 Crop Care Private Limited). Mr. Deepak Shah, an US Educated Mechanical Engineer, is a Technocrat Entrepreneur turned Industrialist credited with introducing ahead-of- time Formulation Technologies in Crop Nutrition and Crop Protection in Indian and World Agriculture. He currently heads SML Group, which has a Group Turnover of Rs. 1640 crores in 2020-21.

Mr. Shah pioneered in introducing Sulphur WDG Formulations and creating Global Capacities In Sulphur WDG. He had an unwavering faith in Sulphur molecule to transform Indian Agriculture by way of boosting Nutrient use efficiency and in enhancing Agricultural Productivity. It is for this pioneering work in Sulphur, he is fondly called SULPHUR MAN OF INDIA.

Due to his untiring efforts spanning over 50 years, SML Group exports to more than 80 countries globally and has significant presence in the Indian market. SML Group is fully backward integrated Nutri- Chem Company, unique in its efforts to continuously bring innovative formulations to WORLD AGRICULTURE.
